Life beyond the Internet

One week ago, our internet connection went down. It wasn’t the first time the small round light to the far right corner of our router went red, so Don and I figured the rain, heavy usage or some other temporary anomaly caused the problem.

My mobile phone has become a liability. It used to be a convenience, but gradually my need for it escalated, until finally after eight years of use, it has become a full-fledged addiction. In an attempt to curtail my dependence, I’ve been weaning myself off.
